PUERTO DE LA CRUZ - TENERIFE 
The Canary Islands are Spain's tropical paradise. The island of Tenerife is the largest of the Canary archipelago, 2.053 square kilometers.
The LTS school is located in one of the most important and beautiful sites of Tenerife. Due to its location you can easily reach the libraries, museums, and other cultural sites. Carnival in Tenerife (February - March)!, this world-wide famous festivity takes place all over the island, but it shines with all its splendor and magnificence in Puerto de la Cruz and Santa Cruz. Carnival is alive on the streets, with groups and processions singing, dancing and cheering this Year's 'Queen of the carnival' and her royal retinue. On Carnival's Wednesday, Puerto de la Cruz celebrates the most relevant parade, the 'Entierro de la Sardina', a giant procession symbolizing the burial of a crowned hand-made sardine.
Puerto de la Cruz has international attractions, excellent restaurants and cafés as well as other facilities, which all contribute to giving it a busy air. Numerous national and international congresses and conventions are held there. The island is very well communicated, especially with the Spanish peninsula, by numerous sea an air links. There are flights to Lanzarote every day from Madrid, several times a week from Barcelona, Bilbao, Málaga and Seville. There are also many links from this main island to the rest of the Canaries, especially between Tenerife and Gran Canaria, with several air and sea links/ferry services every day. |
